FormscanBy Tom Weekes - MOUNT RUAPEHU benefitted from a big drop in the weights when scoring in December and is suited by today’s conditions. Rated 85 at his peak in 2023, the selection dropped 16lb in nine months prior to scoring at Newcastle. He has been raised 5lb for that but should prove competitive. Platino Bianco scored on just her second start on an all-weather surface at Newcastle, also last month. Rated in the mid-60s at her peak in 2024, she was well held on her only previous course run in October but bounced back to form for new connections in December. Ballymacgreehan has been running well but drops in distance while Sovereign Banter has good recent form.
