Formscan - LIMERICK LEADER had four starts in September, winning three and finishing a close second in the other. At the top of his game, it's unlikely a 4lb rise for his Newton Abbot success will be enough to anchor the rejuvenated nine-year-old, and Sean Bowen's presence is another positive. Mumford's Magic should be sharper for his comeback and can race off the same mark as when scoring at Doncaster back in February. Axel Bleue is expected to race at Worcester on Monday but would be interesting if diverted here instead.
