The horse that beat him that day, Powerful, scored again recently back at the same venue, off a half-stone higher mark. Zuzukel has gone up 4lb and looks capable of winning a race of this standard. Spinola Bay looks like an obvious danger. The Gordon Elliott-trained gelding won twice last month before a solid effort to finish third off this mark in a similar race at Cork earlier this month. Night Moon is one to note on his ‘handicap’ debut for Willie Mullins but needs to improve on his maiden hurdle runs.
