FormscanBy Mark Nunan - With I A Connect a non-runner after a disappointing chase debut at Kilbeggan yesterday, this now looks at the mercy of TAX FOR MAX. The six-year-old's hurdles mark went back up a few pounds after he finished second in a Punchestown handicap on the first of two runs at that venue's festival meeting in April. It will be interesting to see how the free-going Flat-bred gets on over fences, but an adequate round of jumping should suffice. Walnut Beach, who has a fair bit to find on hurdles ratings, is another first-timer over fences and looks next best. He wasn't beaten far in a Clonmel handicap hurdle last month. Lodestar ran poorly in a couple of point-to-points but shaped better in a Ballinrobe maiden hurdle on racecourse debut.
