FormscanBy Dan McEvoy - SLURRICANE (8) bids to gain successive wins in this particular contest as he partakes of a 1lb higher mark. Ross O'Sullivan's charge returned to form last time out over hurdles at Listowel, and he is capable of taking this race. Ben Hur and Ballybawn Belter are closely matched on hurdles form, but the former won a Leopardstown handicap before jumping errors arguably cost him the Lartigue hurdle, giving him strong claims. Ballybawn Belter comfortably scored in a Killarney maiden last time, and unlike most of her sire's offspring, she handles a cut in the ground. Any market moves for Royal Saxo would be extremely interesting, as he continues to slip down the weights.

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (90 = 10st)
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
