Formscan - WOODVALE will be wiser after making a winning debut at Beverley. The son of Mayson fluffed the start and took his time to warm to the task, but he finished with a rattle and a 4lb penalty might prove insignificant now he knows what is required. Havana Flash is a likely pace angle and might set things up for the selection, while Paphos showed improvement on his second start and he could have a big say if greenness doesn't get the better of him.
