He has won just once from 17 runs but is rated 14lb higher over fences, is suited by this distance and heavy ground, with today's rider claiming an extra 2lb having also dropped 1lb in the ratings. Both Alpesh Amin's wins have come at this course on testing ground. He might prefer slightly further but is dependable and placed at Punchestown last month. Cosmic Rock is a lightly-raced nine-year-old but also has winning course form on heavy ground. Absent for 756 days prior to returning in October, he was well held on a subsequent course run in November but might improve fitness-wise from those reappearance runs. Ardera Ru revels in heavy ground and while rated 4lb higher in this sphere than over fences, is race-fit and consistent. Farmix is long absent.
