Formscan - CENTARA is a familiar face at Newton Abbot and has won half of his eight starts here. His most recent efforts have hardly set the world alight but the handicapper's grip has loosened and, perhaps more importantly, he is reunited with Jay Tidball, who has been in the saddle for the eight-year-old's last five victories. Opening Bid made a pleasing comeback over hurdles at Chepstow, while the returning point-to-point winner Sinchi Roca goes chasing for the first time.
