A progressive three-year-old who probably needs soft ground, the selection has been spared a mid-summer campaign and, largely due to counter-inflationary measures, has dropped 6lb since his last run in a higher-grade handicap in May. Ten-time winner Harry’s Hill has twice won over today’s CD and while well held in Saturday’s Joe McGrath, had previously scored at Navan and should compete. Nouvel Espoir has good recent form and is ground-versatile.
