Formscan - PASCARD DE BEAUSSE (3) was a solid second in the Prix Montgomery Grade 3 handicap chase early last month when narrowly beaten at this venue. He recorded a course win on his penultimate start in September in a Listed chase. The switch to hurdles should not be an issue. His main threat is GARDIEN DE MUSEE (1), who ran a credible fifth in a Listed hurdle at Compiegne 11 days ago and tries fences for the first time. LORD RAFFLES (5) won three times last year and can bounce back after a tame effort last time in September and be involved. KARYSMATIKA (8) heads the rest.
