FormscanBy Shane Redmond - NEPHIN MOUNTAIN (7) will be suited by the step back up in distance as he makes a quick reappearance after finishing a modest sixth on much softer ground at Bellewstown last Thursday. He won over a trip close to this at Ballinrobe in July and showed up well here on a couple of occasions since, winning over a mile in August before finishing third over this distance early last month. He has a favourable low draw and should be suited by the ground. Reponse Finale was very slowly away at Clonmel last time and did well in the circumstances to finish as close as she did. If breaking from the stalls on terms, she clearly as her chance as does top-weight Albatala who was a 12-length winner over this distance at Down Royal in June before taking the runner-up spot in a mares' handicap hurdle at Sligo the following month.

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards rated 0-60
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
