The UK Flat-handicap winner, bought for 8,000gns last September, today improved on a Naas fourth-placing just eight days ago and while briefly short of room in the home straight, moved past Willie Mullins’ Johnny Blue (matched at 1.06 in-running) on the run-in, to score by 1.75 lengths. Collins commented “she didn’t help herself with her jumping, but Tiernan gave her a great ride. She’s a really honest filly and I think the only two hurdles she jumped were the last two when the pressure was on her. “Maybe she was a bit flat after her run eight days — that was our worry today. We wouldn’t have run her again so quick only she was well treated by the conditions and was getting plenty of weight (carrying 10st2lb). Probably further might suit her as well. “She’s owned by a great bunch of lads and they get great craic out of her.
