Formscan By John O'Riordan - Having shaped with plenty of promise when fifth on his introduction at Naas, ASTROWAY(6) can strike at the second time of asking. Short of room early in the straight, the David Marnane-trained gelding really knuckled down and galloped to the line once in the clear. Provided that he handles this surface, the son of Sealiway boasts leading claims. The Captains Day also ran a race full of promise when finishing sixth in a strong maiden at Punchestown last time. While a wide draw isn't ideal, the Michael O'Callaghan-trained colt has the services of Dylan Browne McMonagle. American Cowboy shouldn't be far away if building on a hugely promising debut here.
