The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the home straight involving Cinammon Roll (FR), ridden by C.P. Millar, placed first and Keep Kool Coko (FR), ridden by T. Ryan, placed third, where it appeared Keep Kool Coko (FR) ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.P. Millar stated that he accepted contact was made but felt he had maintained his racing line. T. Ryan stated that he felt contact from Cinammon Roll (FR). Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found C.P. Millar, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays

The Raceday Stewards interviewed K. Callaghan, rider of Full Confession, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that K. Callaghan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.
