She loves this track, she ran well here earlier in the year,. She got a bit bumped in Roscommon and it didn’t really help her. She’s a big filly. I thought at halfway Ben had a nice position and he said she really wanted it today. When they came to her she dug deep. She’s paying her way, she’s a lovely filly. I’d say, she’s got a bit of size, so hopefully they’ll bring her back to the shed and she could be a nice broodmare at the end of the year. We’ll probably try to get a bit of black-type later in the year but she has a bit to go yet.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from J.P. Murtagh, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Declaree, placed first, as compared with its recent form. J.P. Murtagh, Trainer, stated that his charge received a bump in what was a messy race on his last run at Roscommon. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend leaving the back straight involving Ribchestina, ridden by J.A. Powell, Neo Smart, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, and Tai Tam Bay, ridden by C.D. Hayes where it appeared an incident occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, C.D. Hayes stated that he received pressure from his right at the first bend. D.P.McDonogh stated that he received pressure from his right at the first bend forcing him off his line. J.A. Powell stated that his mount ran very keen into the first bend and manouvered left off the leader's heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards fillies only that are EBF eligible (90 = 10st)
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
