Ballinrobe Tue, 21st Jul, 2026  Bells Grove His form claims were outstanding and he was the best horse in the race, so I played it safe and took no chances,. He travelled well and just idled a bit in front. I think two miles is a good trip for now, but he settles lovely and two and a half should be okay too, in time. We pre-trained him before he went to John McConnell and when he went to the sales, we recommended him to David (L'Estrange) who bought him (for £30,000).

Listowel Mon, 1st Jun, 2026  Thelittleballerina She was straightforward and Joey was very good on her, but he said he was lucky not be brought down (by slipping-up Minnatrix). She is a lovely mare, was a bit gassy in the first mile, but Joey was full of confidence and took her back, and she won snugly. There have been a few enquiries about buying her since she won at Clonmel, but nothing has happened and she is still for sale. Originally, when we got her, we thought about going point-to-point and maybe we should have, because she'd fairly have won one!. I'd love to hold on to her in my yard and don't want to lose her, so we'll see what happens now.

Clonmel Tue, 14th Apr, 2026  Thelittleballerina Whe is a lovely mare who was plenty green, ran keen and got bumped around at Down Royal, so we were confident coming here as her work had been good. She is a nice mare and I'd say she has a bright future,. The penny is just dropping with her and she will improve with racing. Her owner/breeder (James Dunne) is no relation of Joey (Dunne, jockey) and from Rathcoole. This is our second horse for him, the first didn't work out and he couldÃÆ’â€Ã…¡ sell this mare.
