Ger Lyons’ filly was second to subsequent Group 3 runner-up Pretty Gorgeous on debut, and then was caught close home by promising newcomer Nicest at Leopardstown. She might be helped by this shorter distance, and holds big-race entries over the next few weeks. That is also the case for several of these, and a chance is taken on SHAHAADA, a daughter of her trainer’s Irish Guineas winner Awtaad. She’s obviously been showing a nice bit at home to warrant her entries in Group races, including in a race open to colts as well on Irish Champions Weekend. The likes of Shandra (half-sister to dual Group 2 winner Shamreen) and John Murphy’s pair Connla and Rosscarbery also hold some fancy entries in the near future.
