Formscan By Tom Weekes - Colin Keane is booked for BOWERMAN, whose rating has fallen recently. Rated 106 earlier this year, he failed to compete this summer but has an excellent course record (three wins from four runs) and is likely to be fresh following a break. Freescape has himself won five of his 10 course outings and is just 4lb higher than when winning here recently. Smart on his day, he finished fifth to Barney Roy in the 2020 Group 1 Jebel Hatta and having settled well on recent runs and having also run well when second at this trip in 2020, could be suited to going today's extra distance. Raamez won over course and distance recently and while clearly in good form, is 7lb higher and also runs without last time's 5lbs claimer. Joupe is progressed very well recently and while possibly open to more improvement, is nonetheless 7lb out of the handicap. Zoom Tiger was second in a Claimer here recently but this is more competitive. Grandmaster Flash is best watched on his first run back over an inadequate trip.
