FormscanBy Tom Weekes - COKO BEACH was a smart hurdler who can get off the mark over fences here. Grade 2-placed over hurdles, he was rated in the 140s in that sphere and ran very well on his chase debut at Galway last month, chasing home last weekend's Grade 2 chase winner Pencilfulloflead. COKO BEACH will benefit from that fences debut and can uphold form with fourth-placed and 141 rated and capable Speak Easy, who should at least strip fitter for his first run since February. Energumene is an obvious and big danger and could well win despite making his fences debut. He comes here unexposed having won an ordinary maiden hurdle easily at today's venue in March and looks the type who should do quite well over fences. He should give the selection a real race but COKO BEACH's recent form-line reads very well. Fakir progressed well before lockdown also ended his novice hurdling season and he comes here rated 131 over hurdles. He too can do well over fences, is a previous course and distance winner (albeit on the hurdles track) who likes heavy ground but might lack the ability to win. Port Stanley is also capable and has place claims coming here fit and well.
