Formscan By Tom Weekes - NERO ROCK has ideal race conditions and showed much improved form when third in a smart beginners chase at Killarney recently. A dual hurdle winner, he was neatly rated 116 in that sphere and having showed improvement at Killarney, a reproduction would give him every chance, stepping up slightly in trip. Presenting Bonnie has, notably, won three hurdles here this summer and while she makes her chase debut, will be well schooled by a yard in excellent form. She is 115-rated over hurdles but also receives a very helpful 7lbs from the geldings, and is also well suited by trip and ground. Ennemi Public ran well on chase debut at Wexford but was well held at Ballinrobe latest and possibly needs a career best to win.
A steeplechase for four years old and upwards that have not won a steeplechase and which at entry, are rated 116 or less over hurdlesWeights - 4-y-o 11st 4lbs 5-y-o and up 12st Mares allowed 7lbs
