FormscanBy Alan Magee - Gavin Ryan threaded a path between horses to score on VERY SMART at Down Royal last month, and the partnership have bright prospects of following up here. The Tipperary youngster was seen to great effect when partnering a double at Naas on Saturday, and he can be fancied to negotiate a tricky outside draw here. The Dandy Man filly, who also got up close home to score over the seven furlongs at Down Royal last summer, still appears on a competitive mark. Piper Bomb won over this course and distance last month, with Procurator three lengths back in fourth. The latter, who didn’t enjoy the clearest of passages at Limerick last time, should go close at the revised terms. Tuamhain won twice in the space of six days last autumn and has dropped down sharply in the ratings after failing to sparkle this term, while Kody Ridge is another to note.
