Formscan By Donal Murphy - Just the three runners but a quality affair nonetheless, with Grade 1 winner Feronily taking on Galway Plate hero Ash Tree Meadow and six-time victor VISIONARIAN. While he has a bit to find on ratings, preference is for the Peter Fahey trained latter. Fifth in the Galway Plate, he is better off at the weights now with Ash Tree Meadow and he will be more at home over this trip of 2m4f. Disappointingly beaten into second on his return to action at Galway last month, Feronily is given second preference. Easy to back at Ballybrit, he is likely to strip fitter for that effort. Ash Tree Meadow had a featherweight on his back when landing the Galway Plate and faces a stiffer assignment now, but could well be up to the task.
