Hopefully that will give him a bit of confidence and this looks a decent opportunity to follow up. The Dabbler was fitted with first-time cheek pieces when gaining a deserved win at Ballinrobe last time and rates a threat with the emphasis again on stamina. Clondaw Secret has proved disappointing since landing a Navan maiden hurdle last winter and made some mistakes when switched to fences at Galway. Golden Spread also has a Navan maiden hurdle win to his credit. There was some merit in his fourth to Streets Of Doyen over fences at Galway but he needs to bounce back after disappointing at the Listowel Festival.
