Formscan By Gary Carson - DON COSSACK is a really exciting prospect and can prove himself among the top novices with Grade One glory here. He looked a star in the making in bumpers last season and got off the mark in good style over hurdles here last month. He looked like he would improve from the experience then and this step up in trip should also be in his favour. His owners Gigginstown have an embarrassment of riches at the moment and it may be another of their charges that gives him most to do. Rule The World has that bit more hurdling experience as he is making his fourth start over timber here. He turns out quickly again having scored over course and distance last Saturday and if he can repeat that effort, in beating Joncol in good style, he looks to set the standard they all have to match. He looks progressive and although there shouldn't be much between him and Busty Brown on their running at Cork he is just preferred as he looked to have progressed more last time. Busty Brown beat a good yard stick in Seefood over course and distance last month and should again hold that rival. The mare Reine Angevine has impressed at Gowran on her last two starts but this is much harder and it's interesting that Ruby Walsh takes the mount on French import Pont Alexandre, winner of his sole start over hurdles back in May.
