Formscan By Donal Murphy - TOMBSTONE is a horse I like since seeing him finish a highly encouraging third on his debut at Wexford back in November of 2014. He has won five times since then, with his biggest success to date coming in the Grade 3 Red Mills Trial Hurdle at Gowran in February. He was disappointingly beaten into second by Bamako Moriviere on his debut over fences at Fairyhouse last month, but that one has since given the form a boost by impressing in a Grade 3 at Cork. The selection himself has since won at Down Royal, and he drops back in trip to two miles now. The fellow Gigginstown owned Calino D'airy is probably his biggest danger. This French bred five-year-old is two from two since switching to fences, and he has been given a mark of 134. Woodland Opera is rated 150, however he will need to improve on recent showings if he is to feature here. Gordon Elliott trains Tombstone, and he also saddles Brelade. This son of Presenting has filled the runner-up spot on his last three starts, and I'd be surprised if he managed to win this. Inis Meain finished sixth in the cross-country race at Cheltenham on Friday, and so he might not turn up here.
