Formscan By Donal Murphy - COSMO'S MOON gets the nod here over Stooshie and Mighty Stowaway. The Robbie McNamara trained selection ran a cracker to finish second on his debut over flights at Galway last month, and he steps up in trip now to two mile six. McNamara said of the four-year-old in the Irish Field on September 30th: "He finished fifth behind Red Jack and Debuchet in a very good bumper at Naas last January. There is one of those auction (maiden hurdle) races for him on the 30th of October and he'll be good and fit for that. He has plenty of schooling done and he looks great and is working very well. He was never really a bumper horse, but he looks very well after a good break and he has plenty done. That maiden hurdle is over two and a half miles and I think that will suit him. He worked well on Tuesday and I think he'll be a nice horse for this year." Stooshie also finished second on his debut over flights at Naas last weekend, and he is given second preference, while the 121 rated Mighty Stowaway is the other obvious contender.

A hurdle race for four, five, six and seven yrs old only that are EBF eligible and have been purchased as an unraced three or four yrs old at Public Auction in Ireland or Great Britain for E30,000 or less at a recognised National Hunt Sale (the first sale to govern the price if sold more than once) and that have not won a *race or a Point-To-Point Steeplechase in Ireland or Great Britain
