Formscan By Alan Magee - GOLDEN JEWEL has gained all three wins over hurdles and while without a victory in over three and a half years, has run well here in the last two renewals of the valuable Ladbrokes Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival. The Eddie Cawley-trained gelding has shaped well recently over fences including when racing from 3lb out of the handicap proper in the Navan event won by Conflated, with Winter Escape six lengths adrift in third. Grange Walk has been competitive in similar handicaps lately and had Benefit Run back in third when going down by a length to the front-running Dunvegan at Fairyhouse. Fan De Blues generally jumps well and may prove more of a threat than Take All, no match for Riviere D’etel on his latest two starts.
