FormscanBy Tom Weekes - St Stephen's Day winner YOUNG DEV looks comfortably good enough to win this despite an obvious concern about his quick reappearance. He landed a gamble to win over hurdles here in November and followed up by winning a handicap chase here on Thursday, for which he has been raised 10lbs for future handicaps. He is the only previous chase winner here and thus gives away a 4lbs winners' penalty but should take all the beating. Alohamora has won just once from 26 starts but did run an encouraging race on chase debut at Tramore recently. She stayed on from off the pace then and, as a proven soft ground performer, can get involved at the business end, albeit she may struggle to beat the selection. Turndownthevolume is a triple point-to-point winner who ran a solid race when second over a staying trip at Fairyhouse last month and is another who can place.
