Formscan By Gary Carson - SISTER SLEW just gets into this after dropping a couple of pounds following two quick runs at Galway. She was strongly supported on her first outing at Ballybrit but made no impression from the rear. A change of tactics seen her make the running the day after and she just gave way inside the final furlong. The ground may have been softer than ideal when she was tried over hurdles subsequently and she looks worth a chance dropping into this company. Stable-mate Snoqualmie Chief has run poorly on his last couple of hurdles start and given that his last rating on the level in England was 56 he looks to have a bit to find. Gold Falcon is only rated 55 but comes into this in good form which is a major plus. He didn't run too badly when fourth here last year and has to be a contender. Curl Cat is a previous winner here and if the sand can rekindle some spark he could play a part while Stoichkhov is best at Dundalk and it will be interesting to see how he gets on here.
