Formscan  - RIVER SPEY may have disappointed when favourite at Thirsk last time out, but he is much better judged on his two previous efforts at York and Goodwood when placing in valuable contests. Kieran Shoemark returning to the saddle is a plus and he is preferred to One And Gone, who shaped well on debut at Ripon in August before an average effort last time out at Newbury. A stablemate of the selection, Melodical may also have a say in proceedings.
