Formscan By Tom Weekes - GALOPIN DES CHAMPS was a high class novice hurdler and makes his chase debut. A debut winner at Auteuil in May 2020, he excelled when upped in trip on his two most recent starts, winning the Martin Pipe Hurdle and a Punchestown Grade 1 race by 12 lengths in April. He should do very well over fences. Fury Road is a big danger having returned to form with two good November chase runs. He pulled up on two hurdle runs last March and April but his latest third-placing in the Drinmore Chase is strong form and has the advantage of recent chase experience. Blue Sari has previous and recent chase experience and ran a fine race when second at Navan recently. He caught the eye staying on well then and while he is likely to improve from that run, might still struggle to beat the selection. Floueur was third in the Martin Pipe Hurdle and with previous and recent chase experience, has solid place claims. Ain't That A Shame is capable but this race is quite hot while Crosshil, a capable handicap hurdler, ran well on chase debut behind a subsequent winner at Thurles but has a little find to win.
