Formscan  - NORTHMAN (1) has shown enough in two runs to take a race of this nature. He was not beaten far in his latest start in a Class 3 hurdle at Compiegne in early April. He can score at the expense of THE FIST (4), who won on the flat and he will be well schooled by his astute handler and can make life difficult for the likely favourite. NIAGARA DU SEUIL (6) has claims each way and showed nice promise when she was third at Moulins in a Class 5 hurdle in mid-June on her racecourse bow. SOLEA NONANTAISE (5) looks best of the remainder.
