Browne-Souza off the mark on Crystal
I'm riding out for Andy Slattery and am apprenticed there now as I've left school. I'm full-time with the Slatterys. Danny rang me Monday evening and told me he would be interested in booking me. I'm very grateful for it. She gave me a lovely ride, she carried me the whole way through the race. I saw him riding here the other day, and his father and mother would be great friends of mine. Adam is Willie Browne's grandson. His father and I have done breeze ups through the years and he said to have a look at him. That mare is quirky now, but he gave her an absolute peach of a ride. He's got a bright future if he can get it together. If a kid gets a chance, it is amazing what you can turn them into. I'm an apprentice man, I had two Group winners in the last year and both were ridden by apprentices - Oisin McSweeney and James Ryan. I'm delighted for that kid and I'm delighted for his parents.
Hightimeyouwon takes another claimer at Dundalk
I didn't think he would stay that trip in a handicap, but in that grade he is too good for them. There isn't a claiming race programme that suits this horse now and he is quite stiff in the handicap and is a nine-year-old so, if we get him back, we will give him a complete break and we might get him back in the summer months for a couple of races on the turf. He's been a great soldier and he means a helluva lot to me, and has been a great flagship horse for me over the winter period to get me started and get my name out there. I've a lot to be grateful to this horse for and for the owners for keeping him going. A very consistent, fun horse - he is exactly what it says on the tin. We will be happy to keep him, but best of luck to the next man if they get him.

Thorne and Kearney double up with Pink
We had a few interview conversations with Fran Berry (on Racing TV) and he said she would never get a mile. I said to Jack Kearney last week that there were no more seven furlong options and he said to me 'I don't think so Stephen'. Stephen (Mooney, assistant) and I were proven right tonight!. I just felt she had been getting outpaced over seven and staying on well and looking like she wanted a mile the last two starts. We had no option but to step her up and I'm just so happy that she has got a result because she has been so consistent all season, and has gone up 5lb for not winning. These are Saudi Arabian clients and these were one of my first clients to ring me up to say they wanted to send me a horse. That was very nice. A relatively low-grade, cheap type of horse, so I am very happy that she has won. Hopefully, they will be sending more horses down the road. We might just give her a little bit of a break now, not that she has been overly busy. She qualifies for the '65' next week, the points night, she would have to carry way over that. We might consider it. Otherwise, she will have a break and freshen up and be back on the turf.

Guineas trial for Blaze after Dundalk win
We’re very happy, sure he did what we expected him to do. It looks the case (trained on) and there is plenty more to come. We will probably run over seven (furlongs) the next day in a Guineas Trial just to see. We have it in the back of our minds anyway. You'd have to be thinking of that (running in Guineas if he stays seven). He's a very fast horse. If he doesn't stay, he will win lots of sprints.
