Fantastic, I think he deserved it as he has been knocking on the door. He does have a wind problem which we have never done, so you try and keep him up there. He has been in great form coming up to this. We started him off over seven (furlongs) as a two-year-old, but this (wind) was catching him, so we brought him back (in trip). He's a really honest horse.

He's a nice horse. He was a very late foal and we had to just take our time with him, but he has a very nice pedigree. We always thought there was something in the tank, so we never really pushed too hard. This year he has come to himself and we think there is more to come. He's a horse that seems to be improving all the time, great attitude at home and is thriving really well. Very green (on debut) and even there when Billy pulled him out, he was a bit green and ran about a bit, but straightened himself and come home. Actually looked to have won it nicely enough in the end.

He pays his way. I don't know how many times I was getting rid of him! Not now, that's his sixth win. He was up 8lb and Mel took 7lb off - I couldn't believe it, he was sitting still and riding like a professional there. For a 'learner driver', he was staying cool. He battled on well. He does have a Dundalk rating, so we'll work off that. On the turf, we might be climbing a bit.
