High Court Cave justifies favouritism in Downpatrick curtain raiser
I was in two minds to go for the handicap hurdle or the maiden and it was a flick of a coin - it turned out alright!. He's a very useful jockey and rides him out at home and all. Oran is a good lad and knows the time of day. We probably didn't get the straightest of runs with him the last two weeks, he had wee issues that annoyed him a bit. We were in two minds whether we were going to run him or not even. I'm delighted he did that. It was that bad a race you had to go and give him a chance. He had a very good run in Galway. I'll pick out another race. He's a local man, Victor McCrea (owner), he lives beside me and helps me out a lot all the way. He has three or four horses with me and he bought them all himself, and they are all very lucky to him. He (High Court Cave) has plenty of ability on his day - he has a point-to-point and a bumper and a hurdle. He is probably an out-and-out chaser down the line. I've no plans yet, I don't like running them too quick even though I do like to get a Listowel winner! I had it in the back of my mind and pencilled in - you might see him there on Saturday or so. I'll see what is happening, I'll not panic.

Exactly, the 7lb off (claim) just levelled it there. He was impressive there and did it very well. Eoin thought he had gears there again today, so he is probably versatile enough. It is nice to see him do that on a bit of softer ground as well. That is soft enough out there now and it takes a bit of getting. We won't rush him, we won't overface him but he is a nice horse to have and hopefully he keeps progressing.

Collins doubles up with familiar faces
Plenty going on there and it was an absolutely brilliant ride by Jordan, he never panicked and it just worked out brilliant for him. They went a good gallop and he's a good honest horse. He jumped well bar maybe a couple up the back, he put down a bit on them. He's a stayer and sure hopefully he will progress. He doesn't want winter ground - he doesn't want it too quick or too soft. He'll stay going for a while, and we will pick and choose where we go with him.
Moja Dama shows battling qualities to land Downpatrick finale
We went to Plan B very quickly!. We jumped off to go very slow and she just took me to the front, but she settled in front. She had a few breathers and I was able to keep taking back until the home bend, and she was very tough because she got headed and got back up. She ran a bit keen with me (in Kilbeggan) and we got racing too early. She does carry her head high - she is Motivator/Montjeu, she wears the hood. I think when things are right for her, she does try and she showed it there today. Just walking the track, I thought there was a bit of a soft spot kind of halfway up the home straight in the middle of the track, so I thought it was worth coming out to the outside rail to get to it - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
