The winner, Uncle Al (IRE) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Market Rasen on 26 November 2025, where the gelding finished fifth of seven beaten by 25 lengths.
The explanation given by Jessica Bedi that Uncle Al (IRE) may have benefitted from first time application of cheek pieces, was noted.
The gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, Peter Kavanagh reported that Sam's Falcon (GB), which was pulled up, jumped poorly losing many lengths.
