The winner, Saint Dalina (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Exeter on 21 January 2020 where the mare finished sixth of the nine finishers, beaten by 36½ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Charlie Longsdon could offer no explanation for the mare’s improved form.
Saint Dalina (FR) was routine tested.
Jac Brown (GB), placed second, did not enter the winner’s enclosure on veterinary advice.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Barntown (IRE), which started second favourite and finished fourth, lost its right-fore shoe.
