The winner, Jonnie (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Sandown, on 17 September 2025 where the gelding finished fifth of nine runners, beaten 14 ¼ lengths.
Jim Boyle’s explanation that the gelding was suited by the step up in trip to 1 mile 3 ½ furlongs from 1 mile 2 furlongs and may have been suited by the Good to Soft ground on this occasion, was noted.
Jonnie (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Tom Marquand reported that Itraaq (GB), placed fourth, hung left-handed.
