Diamond Tipp takes to hurdles in Downpatrick
We were so disappointed with her runs this year in bumpers. I'm sure it was rapeseed the first day and then she ran a good bit better, but not what she could the last day, and we gastroscoped her and she had ulcers. She has had her treatment. She jumps really, really well, really quick. Her bumper form was as good as anything in the race, so if I could just get her back to that. I'm delighted with the lads, they have stuck with her. They were a bit deflated after the last couple of runs because they were really looking forward to this season. She's a good filly and always worked well, so hopefully she can go on and get another one and we'll see then.

I don't know how much of a stamina test it would be on that ground. He was actually a little bit lairy and I was going a stride faster all the way. It didn’t particularly suit him to be in front, but I didn't want it to turn into a sprint either. I'd say Jack(Kennedy)'s horse (Power Of Words) is better than his form. He had a first-time hood on today, and obviously we were giving him 12lb. The owner, Dominic Kearns, is here with his family and this is obviously a big day up the north, so job done. I think his jumping has sharpened up a bit and he could move back up in trip. Galway might come a bit soon, but I'd be hoping for Listowel. I think he is a horse with a bit of ability.
Tell Us This one for Cromwell and Staples
He did (handle the quickish ground well), he moved away great on it. I'd have to see it again, but he got a lovely run up the inner and maybe got there a little too soon, but stayed going all the way to the line. He had been a long time trying to get his head in front, he was demoted in Down Royal. He deserves it. I'm delighted for them (Old School Syndicate), they have stuck with him. That's Eoin's second winner for us, he's with us a couple of months. He's great value for the 7lb, I think he is a good lad.

Lakefield Flyer wins again at Downpatrick for the Hanlons
He was very good. He can be keen at times, so we said we would make it with him. Fair play to dad, he had him ready first time back in eight or nine months. Dad had him primed for today. He was in good form, he battled back and he was tough. Two good jumps at the second last and the last. Hopefully, he will keep going through the summer now, he's a summer horse. He's a horse we will have a bit of fun with hopefully during the summer. I think he did (Wajaaha headed him up the hill) with 100 yards to go. He came back to be fair to him. He's a tough horse and we've always liked him. He loves this place and won his beginners' over course and distance.
