Going - yielding. Overcast
Littlepacer well on top in Gowran Park opener
She missed the kick in Dundalk and she was back a bit too far. Jessica (Maye) said they went very slow and they sprinted up the straight that night. She was much more straightforward today. It looked like an ideal opportunity. These 0-60s are a little bit easier than the last time she ran. The lads are a syndicate from Dublin. They'd love to have a runner during the winter in Dundalk so we'll look and see can we give another up there. She didn't love the track the last day but I think she deserves one more chance this year.
Venetian Star keeps Harnett's championship hopes alive
He has been a very frustrating horse. There were a couple of times we were sure we had the race sewn up but he always managed to get caught on the line or something. It's not that he's ungenuine but he probably barely just gets seven(furlongs). When you go back to six the horse just doesn't seem to enjoy it. To me he's a proper six-furlong horse but it doesn't seem to suit him. All we can do is keep him at seven now. Paddy (Harnett) got the fractions spot on there today. He doesn't have to be in front but he travels so well it's kind of hard to get him to settle. I said to Paddy to try take a pull coming down the hill and fill him up to come with one run. I'm delighted for the Brannigan family; Tony, Aileen and their son Luke. They gave me the horse at the start of the season and I'm delighted to have him. There might be a race for Galway in him. He likes the soft ground. We'll see what the handicapper does and if that worked out for him, he'll probably go to Galway.
Tabti off the mark on King's Fury at Gowran Park
Lee goes further clear as Churchill Bond wins well at Gowran Park
Dalton adds to Leopardstown double with another winner at Gowran Park
She won here and she was a little bit unlucky here the last day. She should have been second. She's a little bit tentative and doesn't like being boxed in. If they close in on her she stops. The young lad (Jimmy Dalton) is very good. He's a fella that could go to the top. He gave her a lovely ride the day she won and he gave her a lovely ride again today. He's very cool. She went down to a 44 rating now and the handicapper gave her a chance again to win. We got the best 7lb claimer at the moment in Ireland to ride her and he gave her a good ride and it worked out. I don't know where we are going after this but we'll be glad with what we got anyway.
