The Stewards requested a report from J. S. Bolger, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Sundara, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer stated that perhaps the improvement could be attributed to today's step up in trip and better ground. Having considered the report the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
