Indian Love had some fair form over hurdles (rated 97) but appears to have stepped up on that on her chasing debut.

Johnny Allen sent her on after the third last and she soon skipped clear. He didn't have to get serious with her to come home a cosy winner.

Stromstad couldn't get to the front in the early stages and may have paid for using up valuable energy in a duel with Camarilla.

He did lead with over a circuit to go but had no answer when the winner swooped past after the third last. He stuck on gamely but lost out for second on the run-in.

He had run well from the front on his last two outings and given an easy lead somewhere should be able to claim a beginners chase.

All Heart, one of two well-backed joint favourites (5/2 to 2/1), came under pressure in sixth after the third last. She kept on well from two out and was third over the last, before getting up for the runner-up spot on the run-in.

The other joint favourite Ballydungmanor tracked the leaders but was ridden in fourth after the third last and kept on into a moderate third before two out. He was one paced from there.

Early leader Camarilla had no more to offer in third after three out and kept on at the one pace.

There were four non-runners here with Freddie Foster (lame), Mondo (lame), Strand Line (sore shins) and Whatadifference (lame).
