An enquiry was held into the running and riding of No Hidden Charges (IRE), ridden by Robert Dunne and trained by Neil Mulholland, which appeared to be tenderly ridden in the home straight to finish fourth, beaten 6 ¼ lengths.
The rider was interviewed and shown recordings of the race.
Dunne stated that his instructions were to jump off in the middle and creep into the race but not to get to there too soon.
He further stated that he had asked for his effort coming to the second last flight but that No Hidden Charges (IRE) was outpaced from there to the line.
His explanation was noted.
