Polly Gundry was fined £140 as the record of vaccinations in the passport of Hold Me Tight (IRE) did not comply with the Rules of Racing.
An enquiry was held to consider interference after the second last flight when First Assembly (IRE), placed second, ridden by Harry Bannister, interfered with the winner, Good News (GB), ridden by Rex Dingle.
Bannister was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed away from the whip without timely correction and when insufficiently clear of Good News (GB), causing Dingle to take a momentary check and switch his mount off heels.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that the winner, Good News (GB), had lost its left-fore shoe, and that Polar Light (GB), which was pulled up, had lost both front shoes.
