An enquiry was held to consider the conduct of Mark Gillard, the trainer of Quizlet (GB), following a report from the Raceday Assistant.
The trainer was interviewed and found guilty of misconduct in that he had encouraged Quizlet (GB), which had been reluctant to go to post, by striking the gelding with its blinkers, which had been removed on exiting the Parade ring.
Quizlet (GB) was withdrawn by the Stewards at 17.
