The lads who own her were meant to play a Gaelic football match for Old Leighlin at 12 in Waterford but got it moved forward to 10.30am and the manager let four of them leave at half-time!. They got in here about ten minutes before the race although I’m not sure whether they won the match or not.

It was her first run back and I thought she might take the run, but she didn't. She looked a little big, but maybe that's the way to catch her and she was good and fresh. Her work was very good at home but I thought it looked a very competitive race. Jack said she travelled and jumped the whole way and was delighted with her - he gave her a great ride. She might go to Gowran in two weeks time and we'll take it one race at a time. She wouldn't want really deep ground. Her asset is her jumping and maybe she will be better over a fence.

It’s great for the Sloans, they’re big supporters of the yard, and they’ll get a kick out of that. I don’t know what happened to the favourite (What Path), but it left it a lot easier for us. He jumped well and it was nice to win. Davy said he’d be better over a fence.

Easy Game did it well, Paul said he was jumping out of his skin and left him behind at one or two fences. I think the plan is to go to Gowran for the Grade 2 PWC Champion Chase. Kemboy's owners are keen to bring him to Far Hills for the 100th anniversary of the American Grand National. The race is over 2m5f and I'd love to send Easy Game, but he is AQPS (a French breed) and they're not allowed run in the USA.
