War looks Great Royal Ascot prospect

He's a fine horse and I'm delighted with him. He's a fast horse with lots of speed. He'll have one more run in a winners' race or maybe the Marble Hill Stakes before going to Royal Ascot for either the Coventry Stakes or the Norfolk Stakes.

Gelded Kernoff sprints to first success

He has run some good races at Dundalk but got a bit weak over the winter. I probably shouldn't have run him the last day but it looked a winnable race. We gelded him over the winter and hopefully he'll improve through the summer. He should get six furlongs. I'm delighted to train a winner for Jonathan Clague. I trained the dam, Daganya, who won the Listed Sweet Mimosa Stakes at Leopardstown.

Jembatt robs Empress on the line

He's genuine even though he wears cheek-pieces. He gives his all, and when he drops to around the 70 mark he performs. The owners decided to keep him for another year but I put them off coming down here as I thought the trip was too short. Seven furlongs is his ideal trip.

General finally rules on faster surface

He was due a win and kept creeping up the handicap for running well. I felt he was a bit high and in a bit of a no man's land. I stupidly ran him up north the last day when I saw a small field but he didn't handle it (heavy ground). We just decided to claim 7lb off him today to give him every chance.

Russell teams up with old ally

It's our first winner together. Davy has been second a few times for me on different horses. He rode Marashim around Clonmel and Tramore, tracks he doesn't handle. It's great for Davy and all of us. He's a sporty horse and he's full of guts. I'll give him a break and freshen him up.

Globalized makes all to open account

He eventually got one! He's after having a leg a couple of times. He'll be let off now, and will go chasing. That will be his job.
