Ger Lyons Excited by Impressive Leopardstown Display from Maire Rua
She's a nice filly. As Colin says and, we said it all along, if we have a good one at home it's her. First day away, I tend to get stall 14 of ten when I'm up here when I've a nice filly! She's done it; there should be plenty of improvement on it. That's the first time she's ever been off the bridle with me. We'll bring her home and, we'll see how she comes out of it but the usual, it's nice to win first time out but it's not important. There's a new Listed in Cork on 14th August - that type of race we'll look at and, then you'd like to hope that she's going to keep doing that. The ultimate dream in Glenburnie is always to try and win a Moyglare. Hopefully if you win a Moyglare, you know you have one of the main characters for next years Classics and that's what the dream is. As I said, if we have a good one, it's her.
Watch Tower Provides Keane and Lyons with Quick-Fire Leopardstown Double
He's been promising to do that. Everything was wrong. We turned up in Limerick the other day and, the ground was gone. He pulled shoes and whatever; it wasn't his day. We just galloped him around which in hindsight helps them. It gets the freshness off them. It was a long time between drinks with him. You can see him. He's just maturing into himself. Hopefully there is another one of them in him. Fast ground is the key; seven(furlongs) to a mile. Just win his races before we move them on.
Duckadilly Provides McLoughlin with First Group Success
She was my first winner as a licenced trainer and, as I said the last time, every year she has put me on the map. She won a rated race last year and, obviously she got her stakes win in a Listed race at the start of this year. She has really let down into herself this year and, as the saying goes with fillies when they get older, they do tend to improve. It's brilliant to get a Listed race at the start of the year and, to win a Group race, for value and everything else, even my training career it's brilliant. I won't say it's unbelievable because it is believable when you work for it. All the lads in the yard, they work very hard and it's just reward for all them. It makes you get up every day when you love what you're doing. Chris (Mullins) was the first man to have a horse with me. He had Bold Optimist at the start as well. He has supported me all the way. When I was starting off with three horses, he was with me. So, it's only rewarding that he is the owner of my first Group winner. Long may it last. She's in the Matron Stakes again. We learned how to ride her from how she ran in it last year. She deserves a crack at it again and that would be her main target.
Pickle is Much the Best at Leopardstown
He's been running over one-mile-four, one-mile two. We worked him in the Curragh last week and, he worked so well. Ben just said don't be afraid to come back in trip because he's got tons of speed. He's relaxed now cause he used to not relax. Now that he's relaxed you can actually do something. At this stage I think we can go anywhere with him the way the horse is. Well, maybe not a wee tight track because he is a very good mover with a big stride. Now that he's settled in himself, he's easy to ride. Ben does a great job on him. And the owners are brilliant. They are fantastic owners, the Newells. They are very patient and, he needed patience.

Nibras Rainbow Gains Deserved Leopardstown Success
It probably suited him, the stiffer mile here. I know he's won in Killarney but he's been so lucky with the draws down there. I think if he got a bad draw there in Killarney he'd find it hard. He doesn't like being boxed in. He's in great old heart.
Murat takes out Leopardstown finale
Straight to Galway now. I'll stick to the hurdles below in Galway. I'm not too sure what race he'll run in down there. When the rain comes and, he gets yielding ground, he'll be even better again. He's a big horse and, he wouldn't want it too quick.
