Keane collects on Crystal in Dundalk opener
I said to Colin 'just do us one favour, whatever happens, come this side (stands' rail)'. Last week he went up the far side. That's why I left Colin on her, I didn't even claim off her with the 10-1, because he knows her.
Keane doubles up on Call
Noel has been very good to me since I was an apprentice and, especially in the last couple of years, we have joined up in a good relationship. I go in there a morning a week especially now that he has gone more to the Flat than jumps. He's a gentleman to ride for and I'm very lucky to be in the position I am.
Apache leads home McGuinness one-two-three
The other horse, Current Option, is a very good horse and he owes us nothing. Apache Outlaw is on the way up. The other horse's best days are behind him, but he is still well able to compete in good races. I think he (Apache Outlaw) is a smart horse and he is going to go on a break now. We might want another run if we want to go to the All-Weather Finals, but we will look at that type of a target for him. It will be Newcastle - more money in Newcastle!. Ronnie is a top-class rider and he has been very lucky for me.

Glory Flies up far side to secure success
It was a great ride, he's not the easiest of horses. He's not too bad at home but, just when he gets to the track, gets buzzed up a bit. He has done a few funny things with us - he hasn't jumped once or twice, he can hang a little bit. He's probably a little bit too keen to start putting headgear on him. We just said we would stay tricking with him and see would he pick up one. We were very impressed with the way he ran the last day. Nathan got to know him and I made sure I booked Nathan in plenty of time. He's just that type of horse that you need to get on with him. I actually told him to come up the near rail! He said he was lugging a bit to the far side, so he wasn't going to start interfering with him. I was kind of wondering where he was going, but I was happy enough when he crossed the line!. He did it nicely. When he got the swing of things coming up the straight, he put his head down. It is generally on the bend that he can give a little bit of trouble. The Bajan Invasion Syndicate have stuck with him and we knew he had a bit of ability. We knew he would get his day and it is great that the lads stuck with him and got the win.

Third time lucky for Hours
We think she is a nice filly. She's big and we just had to wait on her. We thought maybe just inexperience beat her the last time, and we felt she had improved this time and I think she is going to improve again because she took a good blow there. She did it very straightforward. The strong pace was good for her, took them along. She took over early enough in the straight and Gary gave her a lovely ride. We are looking forward to this filly. She has been improving physically all year and she has improved run to run. She has a good sound action, so we would be looking forward to turf next year, I think that will be her job. I don't think it would be a problem going up in trip, we were quite happy with that.
