The boys (Gormley family, owners) bred her and her half-brother Gavoo, who also won this year for them, so it is another good result. Some of the syndicate are living in Ireland and others are in Dubai and Luxembourg, and she deserved today's win. She will be out of that 0-60 bracket now but hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on her. We gave Gavoo a break as he ran a bit flat in Galway, where the ground didn't suit. I'd like to run him again this year but he'll make into a lovely three-year-old so there is no panic with him. They are very good owners and we will pick our spots with both horses next.

Yeah it was fantastic,. He toughed it out well there. I knew he came out of the Listowel race well. He is an easy horse to train and I'm delighted for everyone involved. Billy said he won a bit snugly in Listowel. He was pulling up a bit at the line. He couldn't do that today though. He really had to knuckle down. We bought him in the July Sales two years ago on the back of being a half-brother to Inventor. We got him home, looked at him and liked him. A few of the lads got involved and we kept a share ourselves. I'm delighted.

He's a different horse this year, he's a much stronger horse. He's a different animal altogether. He chipped a bone in his knee, and we sent him up to the vet Eric Smith in Armagh and whatever he says, I would believe. He's called Micasso because the man (Michael Keogh) who bred him likes to paint!. He had a good run in Cork last year and we ran him again afterwards in Dundalk when we were trying to put another winner in Colin's (Keane) list. In actual fact, I think he burst. He had finished for the year at that stage. Seamie and I have been playing around for years, this is a hobby for me. This is our first winner together. As he said, he is riding in the German Derby on Sunday, and he just wanted a bit of confidence! He has it now!

We had to have a go at it (with all-weather mark) and with this weather it is riding a bit slower. He ideally loves a bit of juice whether it is on grass or here. He was just wearing them down and he kind of needed every yard of it. Probably didn't travel as well as he can do early on. I was a little bit worried before the turn in that we weren't just travelling well enough, but they went quick enough. Rob is riding out of his skin, he's having a serious good run of it. I had words with the handicapper why he was dropping him on the all-weather and not dropping him on grass. He is always going to be proven right in these cases.
